Beta-Carotene (Vitamin A) acts as an antioxidant and immune system booster and helps prevent invasion by disease-causing microorganisms by maintaining healthy cell membranes.
It can also alleviate specific eye ailments, such as “dry eye.” In addition, Vitamin A may help enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy and help treat a range of skin disorders including acne, dry skin, eczema, rosacea and psoriasis.
