With light PMS, the use is daily for 7 to 10 days before the beginning of the menstrual period. After menopause (or after a hysterectomy), women no longer have menstrual periods. Many women will apply proEASE™ daily for approximately 3 weeks out of the calendar month, on a regular basis. You may select either the first three weeks or the last three weeks of the month, as you prefer. To assist absorption and obtain maximum benefits from proEASE™, it is important to stop using it for a short time each month. Discontinue use for a week or at least 4 to 5 days during each calendar month. For women who are still menstruating, the use of the crème can be stopped during the menstrual period. This will help maintain the body's ability to absorb and obtain maximum benefits of proEASE™and it will help maintain what is called 'receptor sensitivity'.

Every body is different and some women will require more crème to alleviate symptoms while others will need less. The correct amount for one is not necessarily the right amount for another. Some experimentation may be needed to determine the appropriate amounts per one's individual needs. When starting to use the proEASE™, much of the Wild Mexican Yam Extract is absorbed into the fat tissues, so some women will begin to feel full results only after 2 to 3 months, after the fat tissues become more saturated. However, most women report feeling results much more quickly.

These suggestions are only guidelines for women to use proEASE™ to be as beneficial to them as possible. The right amount to use is the amount that works perfectly for you. You can begin by using the suggested amounts and then adjust accordingly to your needs based upon how you feel or upon consultation with your health professional. When increasing the amount of crème used, women usually experiment by increasing 1/8 teaspoon at a time.
