After the age of 30, you may have started to notice a few differences in your body, a few wrinkles here, a little more weight there, and of course energy starts to dwindle. That's because around that time your body stops producing collagen protein at the rate it did when you were younger. Lacking in this vital protein can lead to a multitude of problems including weight gain, joint pain, lower energy, lower quality and quantity of sleep, and skin issues. If those sound familiar, then you could definitely benefit from taking a collagen protein supplement, but DON’T expect overnight results. The same way it takes time for your body to become depleted in collagen, it will take time to replenish. After a few weeks, you will likely be sleeping better, with more energy, and see a decrease in joint pain. After that, expect the inches and pounds to start to come off, too!
